I don't.
I ask because I need to sell my car and prefer Autotrader to Ebay.
Charge is £44 for online and mag.
£35 for online only.
Is it worth spending the extra 9 quid? The mag looks quite thin these days.

Try an advert in the car window unless you drive like a pillock or block me in, Peugeot driver on monday
got a shock when i called him and said he had 3 minutes or his windows going and i will release his
handbrake and move it myself.
Try the free ads or an advert on ebay. I think they are cheaper.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

+1
most of the cars i sell go via gumtree.0 -
The mag is pretty useless these days - mag published on whatever day, say a Monday, car sold Monday morning and removed from website, it's still in the magazine when you buy it on Tuesday!0

Its worse her in Northern Ireland. Place advert online at weekend, magazine not out to Thursday. Most of the best ones sold before the mag comes out0 -
Exactly my point. I don't know what day the mag is published here, it's probably Thursday too?0

Thanks for the replies. You've helped me decide that the mag is a waste of money.
I'm selling a 55 plate BMW. Ebay worries me because of the chancers."fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts." (Bertrand Russell)0 -
Chancers use auto trader and local free ads also.
Cars and money always a scam somewhere, Its keeping yourself safe thats the issue.
Silly offers, Fake money, Cons to relieve you of the keys and car before you think ive just been had.

When I last sold a car in autotrader I'd had about 6 (genuine) calls in response to the online advert before the magazine ad was even published.0

That's really helpful to hear. Thanks"fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts." (Bertrand Russell)0 -
You could try gumtree. It's free and local so people will be able to buy your car and take it away with ease. Or you could try local newspapers etc. I hav eused autotrader in the past, and they have an app nowadasy that you can download so you can put your car on there (which is possibly why the magazine is getting smaller)0
