Help please really confused FCS & Welcome

Hi All
I had a letter from the FCS a couple of weeks ago saying about how I should claim back my PPI on the loan I took out in 2005

I was going to do this anyway but through the courts as the actual loan amount was a repayment of a previous loan+PPI and £1000 cash as well

I believe if I go through FCS that I will not get 100% of the PPI+interest back, is this true?
If so what should I do, Can I still do it through the courts or do I HAVE to go the the FCS?

To make this more complicated and complex, I stopped paying them in 2007 as they really messed me around when I was off work due to illness and the useless PPI was no good as I had already claimed before on the previous policy.

To top this off i had a letter in January asking for the money I owe from Cattles which I believe Own Welcome Finance.

Does this mean I can go after them for the PPI or does it have to be Welcome or FCS?

Also to make things even more complex the account number both Welcome and Cattles quote when asking for the money is NOT the account number I owe the money on

They say I owe the money and the agreement was on ****771 And the ACTUAL agreement was ****751

I really dont know what to do as the actual amount of the loan SHOULD have been less than it was once the previous PPI was cancelled and refunded and the interest on it refunded too,

Any suggestions or anyone know Who I can ask about this?

I dont mind supplying copies of docs/agreements to someone reliable but I dont want to post them in public.

Hi there, how do you know the ppi was refunded and the interest too?,usually when you cancel ppi,you get a rebate of this, you dont get all the ppi and interest too.

If you have had the ppi and interest taken off your loan,i dont think you would have a complaint to be honest as you have had this back.

Regards the account number and balance error, you need to complain to Welcome and cattles directly about this,if you get no joy, then get in touch with FOS and put a complaint in.

The loan amount included the previous loan which HAD PPI and I am almost certain that the amount they rebated to me when the previous loan was cancelled was wrong, but I've no idea how to work this out.
I also have no idea do I claim the PPI back from Welcome through the courts or via FOS? well the documentation I have that says to claim it back is from the FCS

You put a claim into FSCS, you will only get 90% compensation, but as i said this is a free service.

When you put the claim into FSCS,let them know this was a loan used to settle a previous loan with ppi on,you should get compensation for both loan ppi.

Then do as i said about Cattles and Welcome, put a complaint into both with reference to the account number and balance.
