Options
Me and my husband had 1 car between us which we decided to part ex and get 1 each. In July we went to a garage saw 2 cars we liked, test drove them and put down a deposit.
Car 1 £2000
Car 2 £2500
Part ex £2200
We then went back at the beggining of Aug, gave them our old car and paid the outstanding money and went home in car 2 (which is fine) and were told car 1 would be ready in a week.
Thats when the problem started, we went back it wasn't ready, cue alot of phonecalls from us to the garage, them not returning our calls, being promised it would be ready and then it not being etc.
Eventually we picked it up in the middle of Sep, drove it home and used it to go into town the next day, however the following day the battery was dead so phoned the garage and they collected it, told us it was a priorty to fix etc and they would deliver it back.
It is now Oct and they still haven't so I called to tell them I wasn't happy and want a refund and the man told me I will not get my money back and it will be fixed!
Where do I stand with this?
I didn't know where to post this, have put it in the consumer section too!
