help pls!! family of 4 to tenerife easter holls!

hi there, can anyone help, we are trying to book to tenerife (las americas/los christianos) over easter holls (31st March - must be back 18th April),
2 adults and 2 childen,
able to fly any north east (newcastle, durham tees valley, newcastle, leeds, east midlands)
i can't find anything 3-4* hb under £3000 :eek: , and can't really afford jul/august time!

if anyone has any ideas we'd really appreciate your help! i have looked into booking flights, then hotels seperately but always ends up so expensive, our son has always been really cheap but turned 2 last week so now counts as a child.

last question, does anybody know if the swimming pools will be warm enough at that time of year my older son spends most of his holidays in the pool and will be most upset if it its too cold!!

Thomson have got stuff showing at about £2500 3* half board in Los Christianos for 14 nights

I went to Tenerife in December, and the pools were cold, although the sea was pretty warm. Probably warmed up a bit since then!

* edited to add that after seeing sloppychop's post above you could combine the flight she found with the accommodatin i found and you'd have a really good deal there! i'd certainly recommend WSH and the Dunas paraiso....

The flight i posted was for 2 weeks and you only quoted 1 week for accom.
I assume they want a fortnight as addicted2shoes wouldnt of mentioned not being able to find a deal for less than £3000,which can easily be done for a week.
