Prestwick Airport-Soggy Parking

Just a word of warning MSE'rs.
We recently parked at car park 3 at Glasgow Prestwick, thought it ticked all the boxes for price/proximity. When we returned we noticed a lack of cars parked around our vehicle, normally this is a good thing in respect to idiots damaging your own car with their doors but I started to get a bit concerned when an official looking type with a clipboard approached us as we entered. Apparently there had been a flood at the weekend (01/10/11) and several cars were damaged. There was also a strong smell of sewage_pale_ Thankfully our car was OK, there was a tide mark around the base of the wheels but inside was bone dry, however, other cars were damaged, the car park official said at least 1 car had to be towed away!
Finding out ours was OK, I lightened up a bit and jokingly asked how often this happens as the west of Scotland isn't short of a bit rain. Annoyingly, he said it had happened a few times:mad:
I then found this LINK so clearly it has happened before and cars, in a secure car park, have been damaged but without liability to the owners of the car park or those in charge!
So, just a word of caution if anyone plans on parking at Prestwick!!
