Excel Parking in Sheffield
misstrious
I received a Parking Ticket for an "alleged" violation (they use this word on their latest missive) on 29/7/11.
The letter was dated 19/8/11, postmarked 22/8/11 but only turned up on 7/9/11.
I emailed Excel (I know Rookie Error) to dispute this charge (not appeal) and to complain about the delay in receipt making the claim fall out of the 14 day lower rate.
I received a letter saying tough really, they hold no responsibility for late post (neither do I) and sent too grainy pictures of me entering and exiting the car park.
I dispute the claim, I do use that car park and am well versed in the restrictions and on that day had been up and down Ecclesall road and in and out of various places.
The reason for this post is that I received the next level of threats, baliffs, court action, etc. This is distressing my elderly Mum and causing her worry.
However, I know I made no violation and so refuse to pay.
Does anyone have any further feedback/advice as to what they did or what I should do?
Thanks

Simple advice IGNORE these idiots ..they won't take you or anyone else to court.
If hell freezes over and they do issue a claim come back but rest easy Excel have tried court recently and got well and truly spanked !

Ignore Excel, they will reject any "appeal" on grounds that it will cost them money0
