Still getting previous owner's mail - very annoying!

Only post? We once, having lived in the flat for about 3 years, got the previous owner's friend turning up at our door! It was late one winter's evening, doorbell rang and this random bloke was standing there. Turned out he had been living abroad for some time and wanted to pop in to surprise her!0

In my previous preoperty, I got loads of debt collectors letters (and personal visits from bailiffs, but never mind!) for the previous tenant. I returned them to sender for a while, then started binning them. I opened one, from a shoe company, stating she owed them over £10,000! For shoes! How can anyone run up such a large shoe bill? How many shoes does one person need?
I still get the occasional bit of post for the owner of my current home, however, she is a really good friend, so it gets opened, and either sent on to her, or binned, it's a good system that works for both of us!0 -

Do you get to read all her mail before you decide if it's worth sending it on?! I don't care how good a friend you were I would be overly pleased on you opening my post whether I'd not rediercted it or not.0
