I have the same problem with my VM phone number, I've got fed up of all the calls for strangers and have just unplugged the phone. I didn't want a landline in the first place, but TV+Internet+Phone was cheaper than TV+Internet!0

When we moved here in Feb last year and signed up to VM with a 'new' number my first few phone calls were for the previous owner of the number, who was obviously in debt and not paying his way as the several voice mails I got indicated. That didn't take long to get rid of luckily as I just said this was our new number, we weren't him, please don't ring again. Now I'm getting calls from non-UK call centres asking for a Mrs Neeps. They don't seem to take no for an answer and don't understand me telling them she doesn't live here, this isn't her number, please remove me from the list, don't call again etc. They always ring back within a month grrr.Extra savings aim for 2020 £4,000 £0/£4,000
