PO Box

Hi,
I am starting with a new company on Monday 10th and they are Dutch. They dont have anything set up in UK and that will be my role. They want me to set up a PO Box for company mail which will then be passed to me by the Post Office.
Does anyone know if I can have a Dutch company set up, pay the direct debit etc?
Even if there is someone else other than Post Office?
Thanks...

You could register a PO Box at your home address and that way company mail goes to that but it still comes to your house. An alternative to using a Post Office Box from the Royal Mail is to use serviced offices who will accept post for you and give you an address - these can be more expensive than a Post Office Box.
Maybe you could ask the Dutch company if they would be willing to pay the PO Box fees and you could claim this as a company expense.0 -
Stop one second - alarm bells ringing - sounds like a scam, or being a mule.
If they are big enough to pay you a basic salary why can they not rent a real small office directly? If you have to give your details to rent a box, you'll be the one with fingerprints all over it when the police come knocking (...if it is a scam, that is).
Can you tell us a little more about how you found the job to make sure this isn't a terrible mistake?0
