Fireplace cladding fitting

I need to fit some stone veneer cladding to my fireplace. It is natural stone cut thinly and bonded together to make panels. These are fitted side by side and staggered on top with no gaps between them.

Its a solid wall they are going on to so just wondered what i need to use to fit them? A woodburner will be eventually fitted in the fireplace so only heat from the sides of that need to be considered.

Would have thought the supplier of your chosen covering is the place to start lagi?

What you are sourcing sounds a) expensive; and b) heavy so you certainly don't want them falling off!

The state of the wall you want to fix them to (I have solid walls but wouldn't attach stone veneer to them) and possible uneven expansion may have a bearing.

Can contact them next week but would have like to have got the materials over the weekend.

Missed the boat now, so will see what they recommend.
