Flights, 2 nts B&B 4* Htl in ctrl Barcelona, a/port parking, car hire £63.46!!

I just had to let you all know about this! 2 people weekend break for £126.92!

Flights, 2 nights bed and breakfast in 4 star hotel in centre of Barcelona, parking on site at Luton Airport & a hire car in Spain for the trip for £63.46 per person!

I booked flights from Luton to Gerona (Barcelona) for two 3rd - 5th February £2.84 (BO/GOF)

I used the EasyJetHotels price guarantee to get a 4 star hotel in the centre of Barcelona for £56.48 (original price £321)

I used the link and code on the travel section of MSE (http://www.bcponline.co.uk 'BN221' gives 15% on parking) to get on-site short stay parking at Luton for £30.60

And I used the http://www.travelsupermarket.com/carhire link on the travel section of MSE to find the cheapest car hire when I get to Spain and that was £37.00

And all thanks to MSE - thanks very much guys!!!!! :j :j :j

Are the flights with Ryanair? That price doesn't include airport taxes does it? They would be extra I presume. Still a very good deal though!!

Just one thing, Snowf1ake -your car hire -a lot of companies charge you for a FULL TANK OF FUEL and advise you to bring back empty as possible.If this is the case, sometimes when collecting the car, you can ask to bring it back full, in which case you need to refuel near the airport. Allow extra time on return for them to check if they allow this. Otherwise cost should only be around 45 euro prepaid for a small car

Hi jonnywells,

I just read through the MSE thread - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=327003&highlight=easyjet+hotels (explains what to do) and visited the https://www.easyjethotels.co.uk website and searched for a hotel in Barcelona.

I then went to http://www.hotelscomparison.com/ and entered the name of the hotel I had found on the easyjethotels website and hotelscomparison finds the best deals on the net to enable me to compare the rates. Easyjethotels have a double the difference refund guarantee so if you find a hotel cheaper anywhere on the web they will refund you double the difference. The Hotel (which I've just rechecked and has since been removed from the easyhotels site) was listed at £321 for the two night stay with Easy but the hotelscomparison found Alpharooms who were offering the two night stay for £189, a difference of £132. Double that difference in refund and take it away from the original price and you are left with £56!

The only downside (if you can call it that) is that you don’t receive your refund immediately (up to 5 days after you fulfil the booking) but hey, that’s a small price to pay for a fantastic money saving!
