i used to have a little stash of emergency food in my desk
    cup soups
    pot rice, pot noodley things
    crisps
    peanuts
    choc buiscits
    breadsticks

i certainly resented 3 quid for a cheese & onion toasted sandwich

usually i take in leftovers, pastas, home made soups, sandwiches
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

  • Hey,

Sorry I didn't get back to the forum yesterday afternoon to end the suspense about what I had for lunch! In the end, Helen's comment reminded me that I did have a cup-a-soup somewhere from ages ago... found it in the back of a drawer! It was very old but hey, they don't go off do they?! That saw me through to home time... at a total cost of 0p!

    Thanks everyone for your suggestions...
