I tried both neat though I usually take bourbon with ginger ale. I think the JB is less "fiery" than the Lidl version. With my first sip of the Western Gold, I could "feel" it in my nostrils, IYKWIM. Having said that, I think it is a little sweeter than the JB and, for me, that is a plus. I think by the time the mixer is in, I won't notice the difference to JB White Label and it's £4 cheaper than Asda JB price. Still prefer the JB Black Label though but it is too expensive.

Ive tried both the white label and black label JB's and i prefer the black label 1 as its a smoother taste(from what i remember)
