Hello. Am so excited about the soap and glory sets going on sale on Friday. Have bought the sets when on offer the past couple of christmasses:j
Only problem I have is I have to pick 2 sets up on Friday and I'm 30 weeks pregnant. Does anyone know how heavy these are? Thanks in advance x

They're a little heavy but awkward to carry. I'm sure a member of staff would help you carry them to your car (if the car park is near?) if you asked.

Why not order them online Friday morning and have them delivered to your house?
  • Just a heads up that this years S & G set is going to be even harder to get as Martin is planning to mention it on t.v., here is his facebook status:
Brought soap & glory gift set home as need it as a filming prop for tomorrow. Mrs MSE's face lit up when saw it, and dropped when I explained. :(

Thanks. Unfortunately I don't drive so will be getting the bus. Looks like I will only be getting the one now. I would order online but to be honest,I like to see what I'm getting and check all the products are there,as I know some years, people have had bits missing in their sets.

hiya everyone, i was in boots this am and chatting to a friendly sa. i asked if there would be a limit to how many of the ootw starting friday(s&g wink wink)!!!, customers could buy??

sa said there had been some discussions at head office over this and including store managers, and the decision is to allow customers to buy how many they want and when they have gone, theyre gone!!! :j they feel this is better than getting grief of customers if they allow 2 per customer and that people will just go back in and buy again anyway if they did. :o

sa did tell me that boots have increased their stocks for ootws by 30% this yr- that would explain why theres been plenty of certain ootw left- its not that they havent sold- its that they had more of them to begin with!!!!
sa also sadi they are expecting to sell out v quickly online because they have sent large stocks of this to shops instead this yr!!! to meet demand!!!! :T

  • Its a shame they have all (as much as I know) have been for women - could have done with a mens smelly set for my Dad! Got my Mum the No7 hat box though so not complaining, she will love it!

I have never got the S&G set, not starting this year - I do like their products but not *that* much! I am picking the No7 hatbox up on Friday from store as I wanted free deliv so will no doubt see some excitement over them, if there are any left!

in reply to luicy1973- ive usually ordered online, -
1- to beat the rush, 2- because i work nights, 3 -because the items usually come boxed so easier to wrap, and 4- so there isnt any items missing.

ive found in the past- ive had items missing when buying instore, and lesson learnt i now always check if i am buying instore!!!

am getting excited- only 251 hours to xmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

General concensus seems to be around 4am, apparently last year was about 3:15am??
