im selling a heavy item collection only , Ive woke to an email asking what the freight cost to Australia will be !!!

you can send the person a message that the item is collection only and that you cannot sent to Australia.
Ebay used to (so should still) allow you to cancel the transaction as the buyer is not available to collect.0 -

Love it.... my father, a retailer for many years, used to say - no-one got rich by overestimating the public, lord love em. His particular favourite was when he labelled x with a big sign with the price on it and then umpteen people asked how much x was...
My suggestion is that you tell them that you are willing to organise personal delivery and quote for a 1st class return ticket to Oz.0 -
Just tell them it'll be very expensive which is why it's collection only0
