Travel Energy Check terms and conditions

1. There is one ‘star’ prize to be won which consists of a Seat Ibiza SC Ecomotive with white paint with a recommended retail price of £14,135. The car will be provided ready for the road with registration and road tax and one full tank of fuel. The car will include Seat’s 3 year warranty, which is subject to terms and conditions. The car will be delivered to the winner’s nearest Seat dealership for a handover. The winner will have to arrange their own insurance on handover.
2. The prize has been supplied by Seat UK at no cost to the Energy Saving Trust or the Department for Transport.
3. Prize Draw is open until midnight on 31/07/2012. Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.
4. To enter the competition complete the Travel Energy Check and enter your details at the end. These details will be stored on our customer database. There is no charge for entering.
5. By entering contact details for the prize draw, participants also agree to be contacted by the Energy Saving Trust for future advice and promotions.
6. The winner will be the first entry selected at random on or before the 31/08/2012 and will be notified by email or phone within 7 days and will receive their prize within 28 calendar days. If either the prize is declined, or the winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable time, another winner will be drawn at the discretion of the Energy Saving Trust.
7. Only one entry per person will be allowed. Anyone making multiple entries will be automatically disqualified.
8. Prize Draw open to residents of mainland UK aged 18 and over only who hold a full UK Driving Licence.
9. Only details of the winner will be passed to Seat UK to fulfill the prize.
10. Names and regions of the winner will be published on this site after the closing date.
11. The name of the winner may be obtained by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope detailing your request to: Win a Car competition, Energy Saving Trust, 21 Dartmouth Street, London, SW1H 9BP.
12. The draw is not open to employees of Volkswagen Group, any of its subsidiary companies, the Energy Saving Trust, or Department for Transport; their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the prize draw.
13. Cash or credit alternatives will not be offered. The prize is not transferable. In the event of fraud, abuse, or an error affecting the proper operation of the promotion, including the allocation of more prizes than are available, the Energy Saving Trust reserves the right to end or suspend the promotion; amend these terms & conditions; declare void the notification of winners; and/or to allocate available prizes by conducting a simple draw from all wrongly allocated winners.
14. The Energy Saving Trust accepts no responsibility for incorrectly completed, lost or delayed entries, notices, acceptances, tickets or other documents related to the prize. Entries not complying with these terms and conditions will be invalid. The instructions provided at the point of entry form part of the terms and conditions of this draw and in the event of a conflict, these terms and conditions take precedence.
15. If any provision of these terms and conditions is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.
16. The winners may be required to participate in publicity connected with this promotion and it is a condition of entry that you agree to your name and image being made publicly available if you win.
17. The Energy Saving Trust’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
18. This promotion is governed by English Law.
