How long did it take you to get your agreed PPI readress?

I was lucky with getting my miss sold PPI back from HSBC. However, its been 5 weeks since they received my signed agreement and since then, despite them saying that they would repay also the amount left on my loan, I still have to make my monthly payments to them?!! They agreed on a figure that we signed for, but it feels that they are still trying to get as much money out of me as they can by continuing to make me pay my monthly loan payments.
Can anyone tell me how long it took to get your re-adress payments back from a mis sold PPI, preferably with HSBC? Its been a while now and if I pay them another £300 on my loan this month then they are taking the P*** with their 'agreement'.
I'd like to hear from people who can tell me how long it took for their payments to reach them. It took me months and months of emails, letters etc to get this but how long now to wait for the payment I agreed to???

***Thanks to di3004's advice I immediately emailed the CEO on 7th October. They immediately got back to me and apologised and said that a member of the PPI redress team would be in touch. They didn't get in touch but today I received my redress and loan payment and also a refund of what I had continued to pay so far, so nearly £8000!!! I am a very happy person and would advise anyone that it is always worth persevering on these things!

    Well done on your success!

I would contact the CEO below of the business about this and tell them your still paying for the ppi within the monthly repayments, yet having your case upheld - and that your still waiting for your refund 5 weeks on.

    Good luck.

  • I am also having problems with PPI claims - I have sent the questionnaire to Virgin Money re. my credit card and PPI payments as I believe that I was missold it, however I have not even been sent an acknowledgement, and I sent it on 23. June. I also sent a further letter about 3 weeks ago asking for a response but again nothing. I am aware that due to the court ruling they have 16 weeks as opposed to 8 to respond to PPI complaints but surely they should have at least responded by now? What should my next course of action be?

You need to send them an email and put a complaint in about them ignoring your letters.
    See what happens then.

If you can fax this, all the better, just dont send another letter.
By the way what address did you send your letters to?.
  • Thank you, I will definitely do that. I sent the letters to
