NCP fraud (allegedly)

Daughter of friend recieved NCP private parking invoice which was affixed to her windscreen in a yellow envelope with black check border bearing the words "FIXED PENALTY NOTICE" !!!!!!!!!!!

Can anyone tell me exactly how NCP are allowed to get away with this blatant misrepresentation of statute authority .

As I understand it only The Police can issue an FPN ..so why do they allow NCP to commit this fraud ???? Hardly a "civil matter" far more likely to be a criminal one surely ??

I doubt they allow it, more likely they have not heard off it, yet.
Complain like mad, even (don't laugh) to the BPA.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

No def private,"appeal" to NCP and payment to NCP ANDt the actual "ticket" is a standard NCP PCCN "-Parking Contravention Charge Notice" ...even says in the small print that it is issued for Breach of Contract.

No doubt it would be an admin mistake, and we can rest assured they were not attempting to gain from it!!:p

Nobody in authority really cares what they do, it is quickly becoming known that private parking tickets are a very good get rich quick scheme and where you get large amounts of cash slopping around left right and centre who is going to rock that boat when there is a chance you could get your nose in the trough and pocket a few quid as well.
The list of those waiting to cash in grows every day, the list of businesses trying to scam a few quid from customers grows every day, hey even ASDA do it ! they scam their own CUSTOMERS and if they can get away with it who is going to miss that opportunity, it a fill your boots scam !!

    This is tame for NCP.

Just wait until you receive an unlawful 'Breach of Railway Byelaws' invoice.
