The CPU cooling fan on my son's HP Touchsmart TM2 has failed (a very common problem), the question is, where the heck can I get another ?. Have tried Ebay and about 20 online parts-suppliers without any luck.
Never Knowingly Understood.

a quick search on ebay gave this... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-HP-Touchsmart-TM2t-TM2-1000-Cooling-FAN-/170628707317?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27ba4373f5 but the delivery is not fast. maybe a local independant PC shop could helpAt times any combination of my spelling, grammar or punctuation may be incorrect. I took a look on partsurfer.hp.com and provided I picked the right model, the CPU fan appears to be part number 592970-001 but when you try to order it there, it tells you it's not orderable

Maybe you can search for that part number if you didn't have that already.0 -
That's one of the part numbers listed on the label. It is actually a Panasonic part, not HP. Have tried searching on Panasonic part #, but did not know that the HP part # started SPS xxxxx, so will search on that instead.Never Knowingly Understood.
