DWP have finally given my friend her DLA decision at last she has been given Lower Rate Care £19,55 till May 2016, but no mobility rate... she is fine with this.
She has full Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit paid for living accommodation and is on Income Support with a Disability Premium is she entitled to anything now that she has DLA?? as some folk said she would get some kind of premium but Im thinking the Disability Premium on her Income Support is what they mentioned.
Would her sister be able to claim Carers Allowance, her sister works full time so Im not sure if she can
Any imput would be appreciated

I don't know anything about disability premiums, but no one will be able to claim Carer's Allowance, as she is on the lower rate. It is only available to people who meet certin criteria and care for those who are on middle or high rate DLA, or Attendance allowance (similar to DLA, but for older people)0

Most of the 'passported' benefits from DLA are for high rate care, or medium rate in some cases.
I don't - off-hand - know of any that you're entitled to because you're on low rate care.0
