How long do you wait?

Bought and paid for an item on the 22nd of last month. Listing had second class delivery, time stated delivery within 6 days.
I still haven't received the item, checked the sorting office, nothing there. So I sent a polite email a few days back just asking if the seller could tell me when the item had been shipped. No reply. Sent another polite email today asking again. No reply as of yet.
Question being, how long do I wait for the item before opening a dispute?
Thanks.

That gives plenty of time for the item to arrive and the seller to respond0 -

Got the case today, was posted on the 5th. Was going to open a despite but had a note from RM saying I'd missed a parcel so thought I'd wait to see what it was. Turns out it was the case.
So now the question is, what feedback?
No reply to any emails at all, case shipped 13 days after auction win. But I am happy with the item.Sigless0 -
neutral, and communications and dispatch star low, say 2 or 30

Just one thing on this comment, the case was probably not 'shipped' after 13 days but was 'delivered' after 13 days. It was probably shipped (posted) within 24 hours. This can cause confusion with many Amazon customers as many don;t know the different between 'dispatched' and 'delivered' so feedback saying like you did above may be incorrect.0 -
johnny, you can tell (I think, haven't used paypal postage in a while) that it dates the postage label0

If you read the OP it was already past the 13 days when the thread went up- so I assume OP has seen the date on the label.
