How about Bare - am wondering when the job I did at the beginning of September will get paid.

I think I worked out Bare take up to 3 months to pay.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

They normally pay around the end of the month after you've done the job (but if you do it late on in the month it is the next month so doing a job say 26th June means you get paid at the end of August. Have stopped doing reimbursement jobs for them as the time to get money back was too long for me.

I beg to differ. The client wanted you present in the store for 15 minutes; you have not complied with this requirement. How could you have observed activities in the store over 15 minutes if you did not spend this amount of time in the store?

You also submitted the report giving confirmation that the details you had provided were true (including your in/out times). I interpret this as fraud.

It is not up to us be selective about which parts of the briefs we follow: if we take on a job, we are under obligation to complete it in accordance with the brief, or to be completely honest with the mystery shopping company about any deviations from the brief.

Actions such as yours give mystery shoppers a bad name. Representatives of mystery shopping companies read this thread. Would you really want any mystery shopping company to know that you falsified your visit times for no good reason? I just hope that any mystery shopping company that chances upon your comments does not assume that we all have so little disregard for integrity.

Even though you have been confirmed as paid for that job, hope that the cctv footage is not checked. If we do jobs half-ars*d then we get half-ars*d fees..as if they aren't low enough as it is!

15 minutes isn't that hard good grief just sit there looking at a football coupon or something! watch the horses! bring a paper!

Anyway its good to be back. Wasnt impressed with the customer service in Turkey!! Weather was good tho... :D
Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk

if you feel unsafe or awkward in a betting shop, then don't book the visit because there are plenty of other shoppers who will not feel unsafe especially if they are guys and do the job correctly.

Berb, with all due respect, I've been going to bookies my whole life and am very comfortable in them, however some of the stores I've been to for RE I've felt like I should be wearing a stab proof vest. There are some absolute dives on those lists. I won't pick those stores up again but I still do bookies jobs cause most of them are fine.

Yes, incidents could occur on any shop not just bookies necessitating an assignment to be abandoned or curtailed in some way. She'd successfully completed these assignments previously and has stated why this particular shop didn't go to plan. Could happen to us all, it's how it's dealt with afterwards that's key.

I had a nice phone call today asking me to do an alcohol check, I said id seen it, the low fee, the silly brief and deliberately not taken any of them. he said he knows, they had gone back to the client saying how unrealistic it was, but they wouldnt move, but not to worry too much as most other vists the staff had failed any how and not noticed anything too odd by the questions. I was asked how much would I need to do the visit, I said triple the fee, mileage and parking( the last 2 were provided any how) and he agreed.

I had to get in to full acting character mode to try and work the stupid required questions in to the conversation, but the staff member didnt fluster too much, at not knowing the answer to any of them and I was in and out in 5 minutes.
Was quite a lot easier than Id thought it would be. Shame she failed every single aspect of the visit bar one (using the right glass) though.

I did one of those, and yes, he didn't do well either. I found the question about how it was poured really hard to get in, especially as he was chatting to another staff member throughout. The other questions weren't too bad though.

Is it just me or can anyone else not see anything on RE? All these alerts and I ain't seen jack all in weeks! I could do with a filler or three to fit in with my other work!!!

Managed to swipe another supermarket on GR to add to my large collection already with TNS and ESA. Woohoo. And finally managed to eBay my Bare jewellery shop item. Almost went for the purchase price, well chuffed.
