    Hi all

I have previously mystery shopped for a few different companies and I'd like to get back into it. I've got all log-ons etc and a few jobs in my area.

However, one of those jobs is an audit for a petrol company and I was wondering if anyone had any experience of these and can give me a little bit of info as to what's involved?

    TIA xx

Depends on which petrol company TBH, I know of 2 who do Auditing, if you want to PM me with more details I'll try to help.

  • Alert-tastic this morning! I was just thinking on the way to the office that it’s been pretty quiet for me this week. Very glad for the chicken as I was going there with a mate anyway next week, so now I get to have a blow out for free* – woo! (*Minus tax)

Think the beds one particularly takes the mickey though. The normal fee is fine – except half of that would be gone on petrol for me due to the time restrictions I couldn’t do my store up the road, grr – and a nice reimbursement, except there is only 1 item on the website that I can see that is below the reimbursement price. I didn’t want to risk going and that item not being available, then ending up losing money and time… suppose there’s always eBay but even so. It’s very nice to think – well, I don’t have to do that one then. But it’s a bit frustrating as I could use the cash and it’s sort of a wasted job. But anyway… circular conversation and we always say the same thing.

Hoping for some gap premiums within the next week too, should be about time. The amount I did in Dec for the prize draw, I can’t take any fast food atm, but it’d be nice to do some for a premium and only taste what I have to!

Yes, I've seen that one. I have only done one audit, for Boots, but it was quite straight forward. I was given a list of items and had to note whether they were on the shelves or not. At the end of the visit I had to get the most senior member of staff to sign the paper to either point out the items I couldn't find, or agree that they weren't there. And that really was about it!

  • Repeat RE Beds alert - check post 469... correct about the reimbursement, can only find one item (a pillow).
  • I can't see any pets shops anywhere on RE *sniff* Could actually use them at the moment as I need to re stock Degu stuff
  • I can't see anything on re at all, never mind pets.

Do need a new gerbil. Mine died :(
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

    Aw, Leigh....

You can rehome little pets from the RSPCA. I was surprised how many bunnies, gerbils etc need new homes.

Though not here, as my whippet hunts...
