I love Mystery Shoppers, they are lovely people to deal with and pay promptly. A large percentage of their work is for video shoppers though.

Never had a problem with them

On another note- what are peoples opinions of 'Mystery Shoppers' as a company. They aren't on the front page, (unless I'm being blind)!
I have been signed up to them for a while but never really looked at their website. At the moment there's nothing available to me. Do people get work off them? And also, whats with the £10 fee for the certification test. Is it legit/worth it?
    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Luke

I did a few assignments with them a year ago. Had to repeatedly threaten them with a lawsuit in order to get paid. Never, ever again. BTW, I didn't pay the 10 pound fee. You should never have to pay a fee to get work.

Worked for them once, it was alright, then they gave me work but took it off me before I could complete it. Never taken work from them since.

Wow, can we be talking about the same company? Maybe there is a company with a similar name.
  • Anyone seen the bed job for RE, 30 mins in store, plus all the faffing and proof reading queries and they are paying a book of stamps for it- yeah right!

No, same one. Not something I'd easily forget. It was the company that wants the 10 pound fee. They messed up my pay, lost it or something, kept promising I would get it "tomorrow". I was tearing my hair out in the end, although they didn't owe me an awful lot, it stressed me to no end.

I was always worried by the fee for the test and thought it sounded well dodgy so avoided working for them. However, since doing video I changed my profile and they got in touch and I have to say they are the best company to work for . Staff are nice, paperwork can be a bit dis-organised but they are lovely and pay well!

They did have one not too long ago, and it was for 2 people! Get a load of that if you will. Never seen them again mind, so not sure what happened there.

How come the GFK phone calls have dropped fees? I did get a call to do some, but I said no thanks.

PS. If RM don't call you, why don't you call them? I'm on 1 visit a week from them at the moment but I do tend to pester them a bit.
Yeah I remember that flights job! Scotland only and some naff airline that was threatened with bankruptcy as I recall...

    oops but
    well thats not totally true

i remember myself and proshopper both mentioning them in previous discussions a while back

I must admit, I only recall mentioning flights when an Alert was posted for flights on RE (on 01 April this year). I can't imagine that I would have had anything remotely useful to say. ;)
