I am suffering from a slight bout of food poisoning due to my mystery lunch. Tummy very upset, won't go into too many details let's just say I've spent most of the evening in the bathroom :eek:

I would mention it, but not blame the restaurant, just say it could be from lunch.
The problem is there is a slight chance it could be from a bug, or something you ate 24 hours ago.

This happened to me once and I was told that you must not put it in the report as you have no proof that you have food poisoning from where you ate!

Food poisoning can be from anything you ate in the last 48 hours. Some bugs have a two day incubation period.
It's up to you if you mention it, but unless you're 100% certain then you can't blame them. Plus they'll question everything else on your report and give you a headache.

Yes, you're right. I suppose it could be something else but canteen food is always a bit sus! I'm not going to mention it though, as you say, the questions!! Not worth the hassle if you're not sure.
