I always steer clear of the channel 4 programmes about the treatment of chickens that we eat in supermarkets and fast food places... I can't bear to think about it..
I don't think gapburger use OAP chicken testicles anymore after the outcry. Perhaps.0 -

Wowzers!! 2 million chickens a day!! And they'll be battery chickens I presume. At least a cow gets to walk around a bit. I wonder how many cows the burger place gets through.0

Have you seen Super Size Me by Morgan Spurlock? It's absolutely brilliant. Documentary about what happened to him when he ate gapburger for 3 meals a day, every day for a month. It actually made his liver sick with all the fat it was trying to process. Astonishing0 -

Oh, I hate looking at dodgy sounding stuff on Youtube. Ever since I watched a beheading a few years back. Some images you just can't shift from your head.
If I watch what you're suggesting I might never eat meat again, and I like meat. I'm with Aunty and never watch or listen to how meat is processed for fear of being put right off.
That 2 million chickens a day we were talking about, that's just with one chain!! The total figure must be at least five times that (10 million chickens a day?) So say it takes a year for a chicken to be ready for the chop. That's 3.65 billion chickens alive at any one time!! Plus all the battery ones. 7 billion chickens? Where are they all??
Glad to hear that the chickens at least get to flap around a bit though.0
