NO! How blinking cheap can RE get!

If you have to buy the deal and it's not over the reimbursement level they should be paying in full. I'll be onto them as well if they try and pull that stunt.

Hope you manage to sort it out.

Thats what I thought....but they payment pending only includes the Sandwich and not the full deal. Will have to call them tomorrow to try to sort that one out - it's only a matter of about 30p but its the principle.

I did one of those last week and the full amount is shown on my payments for 25th October. You should definitely query it.
  • OMG! I signed up to GAP yesterday, spent hours of my day doing the general questionnaire and then 4 individual ones for stores, this morning I got an email saying thanks but no thanks, I did pass everyone. What a waste of my time :(

Thanks, I am registered with GFK for almost a year and all I'm offered the same bank all the time but its not worth my while doing it when I take my travel costs and stuff out its less than the minimum wage. I'm also with ABAi but I get a posh store who pays less than the purchase they want me to make. DH has had his hours cut to two days and I care for our adult daughter so I'm just looking to make a few bob to help with the bills.

Sign up to as many as you can on the first page of this thread. It really does help to be registered with as many as possible. Also the more companies you are with then you can plan your trips in a cost effective way! I am going into a town this afternoon where I have 6 jobs lined up...one of which pays parking and mileage. With a bit of foreplanning this is the way to earn the money!;)

im sure we all go through copious amounts of paper so i tried buying some Tesco value paper which was £2.37 i think. i always usually buy the one priced in the middle, but i would recommend this paper, not as cheap made as I pre thought.

I wouldn't ask any persons specific earnings. Just a rough estimate of what Mr/Mrs average MSer could look to earn in an average month given an average number of average jobs. I mean you wouldn't go for a new job without asking what the pay was would you? I know that of course it's down to the effort you put in and the number of jobs you do but again I was asking for an average, I work full time and would just be doing it in my spare time.

I understand where you're coming from as I too MS around a full-time 9-5 job and it can be difficult. I would also add that there can be busy weeks and quieter weeks. Have a look at the fees on some of the websites and think about how many jobs you could reasonably do around work in a week - 1 a week? 5 a week? And then you'll get your average :)

I would echo the printing recommendation - I've bought the Tesco value batch of printer paper before, and for an inkjet printer just to print MS notes and the questionnaire, it's perfectly satisfactory.

    Gosh today is DRAGGING.

  • Thanks for the link - I must admit I'm surprised I've never had anything said to me for taking photos in my local shopping centre. The MS companies that require them should really rethink the policy in this day and age. Or should the shopping centres be less overzealous...?
