99% of the time this is true, but occasionally a company gets real desperate for certain jobs, and if you know which jobs they are, and you can see how desperate they are, this isn't completely out of the question!!

Computers - it wasn't rubbish, in fact I've just applied to do another one. What drove me mad was the sales person's inability to hear me when I said three times that I was looking for product A and her UTTER inability to shut the heck up when I'm trying to ask a question!

Hmm that's where I got the sexist guy on Saturday, because I'm blonde and female he guessed I only wanted to know about colour and it scratched easily or not, it was like pulling teeth trying to get him to discuss the functions of a computer. I must say I've done another three and I've found everyone else to be lovely

Your woman sounds like she might have been on an incentive to push that product.

Couple of years ago before Gyp sacked me, I got 3 phone calls over the weekend getting more and more desperate, for a 140 mile round trip burger visit. Last call at 3pm, I finally said would only do visit for extra £100 expecting a "thanks but no thanks" - immediately agreed if I did visit before 7pm. MOS was that desperate I got the impression he would have agreed to £200!!!!

This is also true. I have actually managed something not too far off this at least once before.

I must say REACT are good when it comes to this. They double, triple or even quadruple the fee and even offer full mileage. And all that without the ping pong phone calls. One email and it's all done.

Booty calling Meena is also good from GFK, you can normally rake it in from her and she is very generous. If she asks you to do her "a favour", the next line is normally "name your price" :rotfl::rotfl:

I was at a dealership today and my comments were "I lost the will to buy a car and the will to live around 32 minutes into the visit" LOL I shall submit tomorrow when I can think of something more positive!

Never had the opportunity with REACT, only job I had for them was a piece of cake and I'd have felt bad taking more off them.

GFK is the only company I've not gotten mileage out of when I was trying to get it.
