The superstores take about an hour in reality. Claiming 30 minutes is bull.

I had to say there was no one available in some of the section as there was no one there, but still, took 20 more minutes than they had said it would.

The RM newsagents are so much better!

Has MS'ing really taken off for anyone else this month/last month? I'm doing on average 20 a week! !!!!!!.

im averaging 15-20 a day at the moment and was just looking forward to a nice quiet week next week when ive been asked to help with a large scale audit project for a company who usually has so little work in the uk, focussing more in europe, but are one of my favourites for fees and ease of work so that I darent turn them down when they come along. another busy fortnight ahead it is then:D

Oh my, I'm just having a break from filling in the reports! Did a job today that was so bad I actually lost the will to live and had to put up with a sales person tell me how I didn't want what I asked for for 44 minutes! I tried so many times to steer her back to what I was meant to be getting a recommendation for and she just told me that it was rubbish and just for old people and I'd be better with product B instead! I actually said "So you wouldn't recommend product A at all?" and she said "no" - honestly! I got an all singing all dancing written recommendation for the product I didn't want though! Got a thumping headache trying to fill in the report...I really really hope it doesn't get rejected because I didn't get a recommendation!

How generous and negotiable are ESA with their fees at this stage of egg visits? Theres a round trip I can do for them for about 5 stores, however would need a bit extra than the fees they are offering. Would it be worth giving them an email?

They normally call when they are very desperate. Good luck with upping the fee/mileage. It works for some people. Never works for me, they always say "I'll call back" and they never do! I only ask for a £ or 3 and all. LOL.

You'll probs end up playing chicken with them but if it goes then let it go, they'll hold out for a better offer if they can cause they are a business after all but you can negotiate them up if you need to. That being said the only company I've looked for mileage from and not gotten it was GFK thinking about it. I think its a case of being reasonable with them. You look for an extra £100 and you'll be laughed out the door. But if you need like an extra tenner to cover yourself most companies will talk turkey.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

Not today but I did that last week - that was almost as bad! Seriously, what is wrong with sales people these days? Last week I got told to come back if I had any more questions because it was the salesman's son's birthday and he had to go and buy his birthday present! Today I got a headache because I actually couldn't shut the sales person up for long enough to ask her what I had to ask! If I had wanted to buy either of these two products I would have been too embarrassed because the sales people told me how rubbish they were!

Permission requested to advance myself the shopping fee to buy some wine
  • I am so disappointed. Just offered a real doozy of a fee to do a straightforward reshop for RM coz somebody has messed it up, but I had to turn it down coz I'll be at the other end of the country tomorrow.
Turning away work? What have I become?
