Actually I'd already said it on post #5.

However I'm not "just" saying it, I'm saying it because it's true.

    If you get the concept.

What are you, a 5-year-old? Do you seriously think me or anyone on here cares whether you believe a word we write? Please go ahead & presume I'm lying, you walking around under misapprehensions won't affect my day :)

Haha, you really are 5. Tell you what, I won't respond to anything else you post on this thread.

Now feel free to go ahead & have the last word as I strongly suspect you're the kind of inadequate who needs it. Don't expect a response from me though.

Plenty of investments out there paying good retruns. Think yourself very fortunate to be able to at least have such options. Billions of people have nothing at all.

When I retire I'll be investing appropriately and then out there helping Romanian street orphans instead of whining about by golden pot.

Good on ya Conrad ,well done you.......;)

With regards to savings rates IMO many people are frightend to invest in products other than mainstream ISA's, savings Bonds etc.Why do so many ISA's ,Bonds etc give a better rate when applying by internet? Many people don't like carrying out financial transaction over the net..........Think we should have a happy medium with savings rates and as the figures released a few weeks ago savers are missing out.
