I agree with the others, you need to seek professional advice on this, a lot will depend on if you informed the tribunal service you could not attend, and if they refused to re-arrange a new date. You may (not sure) be able to still argue for a set aside though, perhaps if it can be shown that your medical condition led to the confusion over dates etc, ie it was not a case of you simply not turning up, but more a case of the stress/worry/condition leading to it.
Get advice, its a complex area that would have to be handled rather well to convince a tribunal to set aside.[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.
