be wary of airtours

Just thought you'd like to know...I booked a holiday to the santa monica hotel,calangute goa...on 4th march 2006..and received confirmation of this!!!...we are due to go today and will be going but got a call off the travel agent on saturday just gone saying they were changing our hotel as there was a problem!!!...after a bit of digging I found the true reason was because it was overbooked!!!...I went mad...they offered a refund and NO compensation...they had me over a barrell as how could I arrange a months hoilday at such short notice....please let this be a warning to you....what's the point in researching where you want to stay...you might as well get a last minute deal for peanuts...this is noit the end of the matter and I will be persuing it when I get back...they are not getting away with it!!...
So Airtours don't give a damn...don't be fooled

I would never again give Airtours the time of day after the disastrous holiday we booked with them a few years ago. I cannot understand why they advertise they are the no1 as far as i am concerned they aren't even last choice.
