Or maybe it's time to go short."It will take, five, 10, 15 years to get back to where we need to be. But it's no longer the individual banks that are in the wrong, it's the banking industry as a whole." - Steven Cooper, head of personal and business banking at Barclays, talking to Martin Lewis0 -

You misunderstand. I think the Govt is giving it away to those buying a kilo of silver. It is only in this way they can be sure it isn't falling into lizard hands.0 -

You have to laugh.
The bulls tend not to "do" economy.
But when they do, its as short sighted a perspective as you could imagine.
Yes, nice one chaps, additional QE and the increased shove to already runaway inflation is going to be just grrrrrrrrrreat for you.:rotfl:

What a hopeless imcompetent moron Mervyn King is.
Rates were kept too low for FAR too long during the disastrous boom in house price & now he comes out with comments like today's gem:
"inflation will undershoot the 2% target in the medium term"
In case no-one knew Mervyn King also has a sideline selling very expensive clocks. They're all broken & permanently say it's 4.00am. However he's absolutely confident that they'll be completely accurate at some point.0
