Best place to get movies for iPad?

Is iTunes the best/cheapest place - cos it doesn't seem that cheap to me when I want to buy/rent half adozen for hols.
Is there anywhere else thats legal in the UK?

Yeah do believe it is illegal to make copies from rental films, goes against the copyright.

But how are Lovefilm, or anyone else for that matter going to know? I've paid to watch the movie what difference does it make if I watch it on my laptop from the disc or from a ripped DVD on my iPad at a later date?

No they are not going to know. But it still doesn't make it legal. It's copyright infringement. As you say, you have paid to watch the film not copy it.

If you run a Mac then there is iPlayer+ (donation ware) that will download the BBC iPlayer content and copy it to iTunes for you. Then sync to the iPad and play catch up TV or Radio. As long as it's available on the iPlayer then you should be able to get it on your iPad

Looking at the itunes prices, they do seem to be the cheapest option. Shame amazon Uk don't offer this yet as US amazon do have some cheap rental prices.
