Yeah do believe it is illegal to make copies from rental films, goes against the copyright.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0

But how are Lovefilm, or anyone else for that matter going to know? I've paid to watch the movie what difference does it make if I watch it on my laptop from the disc or from a ripped DVD on my iPad at a later date?0

No they are not going to know. But it still doesn't make it legal. It's copyright infringement. As you say, you have paid to watch the film not copy it.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0

If you run a Mac then there is iPlayer+ (donation ware) that will download the BBC iPlayer content and copy it to iTunes for you. Then sync to the iPad and play catch up TV or Radio. As long as it's available on the iPlayer then you should be able to get it on your iPad~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Do not adjust your mind, the world is at fault.
