you could also join the winners circle but you need to remember to look thru the posts in there for your name, but its still very helpful as people who dont know ppl put up winners names and if you have friends there, they may see your name and then tag you too

Hi all,
I'm a newbie to comping and MSE's comping forum. Bit scared of doing things wrong as MSE forums are so well organised. Hope this thread is ok to post in. I just wanted advice and searched for it but couldn't find any threads on it. I'm tempted to pay for magazine subscription for one of the comping mags but was wondering if that's a good idea or a waste of money? Are there any recommendations on good ones? The ones that prop up a lot seem to be compersnews and simplyprizes. Anybody have any experience with these? Please let me know or point me to a thread where this has been discussed (I'm sure it has been already but I'm just not good with my searches!!!).

They are OK. I subscribed once but then found that almost all the comps listed in there could be found on here for free If there are any new ones, probably a handful and probably ones meant for subscribers only. Can't say I've done too badly prize-wise since giving up my subscription

If you can't get on the internet often and need something to carry around with you e.g. for postal comps, the magazine was handy but then again, I was printing off the postal comps from here and just entering them for when I'm out and about.

hiya, terribly sorry if this is the wrong place, but does anyone have the answers to take a break autumn 2? I couldn't find them, and have been slowly struggling with the mag, and only have 2 answers so far...

Thankyou Weeowens and fire**fly for posting replies on my behalf, I'm nearly ready to post the answers, its my little boys 5th birthday today so its been a bit of a mad extended weekend having family visiting him and birthday parties! Once today is out the way I'll get round to posting! x
