Hi guys, I was wondering if you could tell me if FB is a good way of winning comps? My Dad is always telling me of ones he's seen on FB but I worry about if they want to access my details like an app, or if I'm going to end up with my wall covered in links. Anyone won through FB? Best Wins:
Blu-ray player & B2TF Blu-ray trilogy tin

no1wf - I won on my second FB competition. It was Dairylea Cheese I only had to Like the page and leave a comment. I won a child's bike at the end of September 2011 and it arrived Wednesday. It is beautiful. There are some competitions on FB where they start asking personal questions and I just avoid them. Your wall will be busy with links with these companies but you can hide it if you do not want to see it, I think you can also block people if you do not want to hear from them.
Good Luck if you decide to try FB competitions. Try well known Companies until you get used to doing them.

yes I have won through facebook, little wins that im hugely grateful for.
Yes your wall gets filled with stuff.
Yes your friends get advertised to but they can block stuff if they want to but it must be annoying for some. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Is it possible to open a new fb account with a different email and use it just for comps?0
-
It is but Facebook are getting more proactive re duplicate accounts. You risk it getting deleted & possibly the first account as well.Lots of us have duplicate accounts though so up to you :-)0

Probably not the best idea as FB seem to be closing a lot of accounts that folk have opened for that, something about being against their rules.
Think superluckydi discussed previously how to use lists to help keep your account separated.Jo x2007:£5181.09 2008: £6619.70 2009: £4284.49 2010: £5213.14 2011: £4980.62 2012: £3188.52
