Does anyone know what I did or maybe it's a recent firefox.
Let me explain.
I downloaded firefox on my work computer and today I was playing with the privacy setting etc as I didn't want the history to show so anyway, after I'd done all of that, I entered some comps and whenever I pressed the back button (entering by closing date), the green tick showed straightaway :T which made it easier for me to know where I had reached. Normally, I'd have to refresh the page before the green tick would show.
I want the same to happen at home. What should I do? Thanks.
I really hope this makes sense :rotfl:SECRET TO WINNING PRIZES:

It doesn't sound stupid at all, I am always wondering that! I go for just the answer, but would love to know what someone with more experience/know how does!
I always worry that if it's an automatic answer reading thing, it'll think it's wrong if I put the a/b/c in...

Hi Guys,
I thought I'd give comping a go and keep finding competitions on the MyOffers.co.uk site. I have no problem filling in questionnaires about who supplies my Gas, when I booked my last holiday etc... I don't leave any personal information so it's not a problem, but I just wondered if the prizes are real?
There's so many of them but I don't see where the prizes are coming from, e.g. a company or sponsor. I know companies value the information I give them, but it just seems a bit dodgy.
If anyone could let me know if the prizes are legitimate I'd really appreciate it so I know i'm not wasting my time.
Just on another note, I always enter competitions on the the Shortlist Magazine site, and the same for their sister magazine, Stylist. Good prizes and you don't need to register, just answer a question, leave contact details and you're done. you can enter as many times as you like as well. I can't post links on here but a google search will find them in seconds.
Cheers

From Velvet Glove's Comping Guide (sticky at top of page)
11 Are there any sites, from experience, which are likely to generate lots of spam?
There are a few which have come to our collective attention as sites that, when used for comps, seem to generate lots of unwanted postal, email & phone call attention. These are listed below for your information, however, please do remember that this is only the collective opinion of other MSE Compers & does not necessarily reflect upon the sites themselves.

I've been entering postal frequently for about two years now, and I've entered the occasional text and phone comp, I just wondered how successful everyone on here was with the phone and text comp, do people set themselves limits as to how much they spend on these comps?
How does everyone feel about the daily Whatsontv, now etc comps - do you think it's worth entering them? I spend about an hour a day entering dailies and I haven't won from them yet.
ThanksThank you, to all those who make the comps forum, what it is.0 -
Lots of people have reported wins from the dailies that you've mentioned, I have had a few myself.
Only you can decide how much is too much to spend on text comps, I rarely do them myself, and only then if they are 50p or under.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

The kids are driving me crazy. I mean, can you believe that I do more comps at work than I do at home?SECRET TO WINNING PRIZES
