Are we entitled? PPI Claim

Hi Everyone,

About 3 years ago my gf and I decided to get a credit card our first and only, to pay for a holiday, as we dont usually rely on credit i was very keen to get a good deal, we ended up going with Barclaycard as we could get 18 months interest free, I remember on the phone to them specifically asking if it really was interest free, they said yes so we were very much under the impression we would just pay back what we used within the 18 months, I remember my disspointment when I saw that were paying an "insurance" on top after our first bill, but I thought lets just pay it off and be done with it.

Needless to say we still have it 3 years later still a fairly amount owed on it but I have worked out we have paid a few hundred of this insurance that was added, as I say I honestly feel I wasnt informed about the extra cost, do you think we have a case?

Many thanks

Brett

    Hi Brett

I can't see why not, you do seem to have reasons, so no harm in giving it a shot.

Just complete the reclaim questionniare below, step 3
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance#step3

Send to the head office or complaints dept, and remember to keep copies as well, in case you need to refer to it again at some point.

    Good luck.
