Hi,

My Dad moved into a flat in July, has been using his mobile for calls but now realises he needs a phone line (he wants BB so obviously will need one!)

There is a line already in the flat, so does he just ring up to get it reconnected as a new customer?

Also, can he have it set as incoming calls only and does anyone know how much this costs - can't see anything on the website.

Ta muchly! :D

If the line has been used before then it would be free of charge, if it's not then it would be £124.99 - they'll be able to tell you straight away.

Worst case scenario you'll be waiting 2-3weeks for an engineer appointment, at best it'll be the same day.

Line rental from £10.75 per month on option 1 and incoming calls only requires a barring to be placed onto the line at a one off fee of £26, or you can have a pin control call barring for £1.75 per month.

To get it reconnected he needs to call Freephone. 0808 100 7722.

    Thanks guys :)

Just been on BT site again and apparantly, you cannot have either incoming calls or go on the light user scheme if you just want the line for the internet.

Looks like he will have to go for Option 1.....ah well :)
