Does anyone know of any other day flights from the US back to England? I am aware that BA has day flights from Boston and New York (JFK) to Heathrow but wondered if anyone knew of others, not only with BA but other carriers.

Have you tried Continental airlines? I flew with them on a daytime flight from Glasgow to Newark and I'm sure they use other UK airports aswell. If you cant find anything reasonable through their website try
https://www.dialaflight.com and then give them a call and see what they can come up with. Use https://www.saynoto0870.com to see if you can get a normal phone number to call them on."Life may not always be the party you wish for, but whilst here you may aswell dance"!!!

American Airlines have a flight from JFK to Heathrow leaving at 08.30 and arriving Heathrow at 20.25
also Virgin...leaves JFK at 07.35 arrives Heathrow at 19.15
they also do a flight from Newark at 08.20...arriving Heathrow at 20.00
 Continental....from JFK at 07.35...arrives Heathrow 19.15
thats probably a codeshare flight with Virgin.0

look on Expedia for flights....and specify morning flights for whichever city you want to return from....it will show you which airlines.0

Thanks Penny for the information. I am trying to find an alternative to JFK, if there is any! I will go to Expedia and see if I can learn anything there.:beer:To Dare is To Do:beer:0

no problem...I only search on JFK as you had mentioned it above....
make sure you dont put any airline preference in the drop down box for the list of airlines, then it should give you the selection of all that fly from that airport at that time....good luck.0

I wonder if this will be any good...
I checked on Expedia.com and they have flights going from Atlanta at 6.00am and getting into Heathrow at 10pm. That's with United and it's $981.00/pp. You connect in Washington. The date I put in was Tuesday 30th January. Hope you find something.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. Oops, my apologies for misreading.
Just looked at Continental website and they have a 7.35am flight departing JFK which arrives at Heathrow at 7.15pm and is a flight time of 6h 40mins direct. I used the date of 01/02/07 and the cost was about $780 for the oneway flight.
Hope this is more useful to you!
