I voted yes earlier on today, went back within the thread just now to find what Martin had written about himself. Fasincinating...

An Honorarium is what Martin should have, as he is not technically a DFW. Perhaps he could start his own list of Debt Free Nerds and invite us all to enlist as and when we reach our Debt Free Date?

    I voted yes:

I think it is great that Martin wants to be "one of the gang".
Without this site I wouldn't have been a contributor to the "How much have we paid off our debts in 2006" and wouldn't even know what a debt free date was.
I think being an "honorary nerd" is very appropriate - a bit like the Patron of a charity
    Sorry SS (great thread)

I voted yes as i think it shows how much Martin is proud of all the support everyone gives each other on this board.

Wow I never expected such a full & frank answer to my question to be honest!
But I am seriously impressed with the information received.

If this guy doesn't get an honorary nerd number SS, I'm coming to find you and give you a good......talking to.

I voted yes too, sorry SS.

Without Martin and this site, we'd all still be struggling, and most likely getting deeper and deeper in debt.

He's a bit like the Daddy of all us nerds....none of us would even be here without him.

Give him a flippin number :D

Personally I think DFW Don or Don Martin would be better suited than a number...
