Creditor ignoring my DRO!

I got a call from a debt collection company today. They were calling about a debt which is included in my DRO. They told me they were looking to serve court papers on me for an attachment of earnings but when they asked me to cofirm my address they had next-door's not mine so I hope they haven't tried to visit her instead.
I told the debt collector I had a DRO in place since July and gave her the number. She was really confused and couldn't be more apologetic about calling me when I had a DRO. But now she wants me to send the collection company a copy of the paperwork, which seems a bit off given I now have to pay for a photocopy and a signed-for delivery (as I know it'll go "missing" otherwise) - can't they get it off the insolvency register?
But it isn't the collection company I'm peed off with, it's the original creditor for passing the debt on - surely they will have been informed I'm on a DRO as my account with them was included on it?
What should I do about it?

Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.

Yes, they can get it themselves, but to be helpful I would print off the entry and send it (2nd class ordinary post will do) to them. Any further action - report them to the IS. I think you'll be OK.
This sort of thing often happens as each debt can have only one entry on the application. Ideally there would be entries for the owner and current collector of each debt.0 -
debts that are bound by a DRO/IVA which still belong to original creditors can still be sold on, quite often the original creditor obviously is aware the debt cannot be claimed on but will still sell it on, the 'buyer' of the debt should make their own enquiries as to whether they can collect on the debt legally or not, but often they buy lots of these debts in one go and don't necessarily make their own enquiries, so it's their own fault reallyAug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00
