I love the ideas of your Christmas Eve Hampers

I think I may do one for me and my OH. Our kids are all grown and have kids of their own now lol.
In our house our Christmas run up began on December 1st. As the advent calendars went up out came our Book of Christmas Stories. When the girls went to bed each night they had a story from the Christmas book, they weren't religious stories, just nice happy stories about Christmas. This and opening the Advent Calendar each day made all of December special
I think a Christmas Eve hamper would have been a lovely idea.
Do you think it would be silly to make one up for me and OH?
PS Hope you don't mind me joining in0 -
Hi, nothing is silly when it comes to Christmas, in my opinion. Any excuse to indulge oneself and others is good by me. My children have long since left home and have little ones of their own. I am going to make a Christmas Eve hamper for both their homes. My son is married to a Hungarian girl and they celebrate on Christmas Eve so anything that contributes towards that will be great and things to occupy the little one will be welcome. My daughter and husband have a two year old and a very young baby so anything that eases their day will be welcome too. I will really need to think but it might include a meal I have made and frozen to save them the hassel.
I like your idea for your OH. I will work on one for him (an me as he won't know about doing such a thing). Not sure what to include but a bottle of something, some nice biscuits, fresh fruit, not too sure at this moment. Maybe you could post some of your ideas.
I am so looking forward to it as it has not been a very good year one way or another.0 -
We have done adult ones! We did them for my parents, us and the children. Children found them on the bed after lunch. The adult ones had pen, nice chocolate, lush for ladies, shower gel mini for men, hot choc and mini mallows, cup, mini alcohol, reindeer food, and we all had a sky lantern0
