Are you recieving benefits? If so which ones? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

The only grant that is readily available is for insulation- walls and roof. beyond that you will struggle to find any type of grant available.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

the house has already got these. just when i bought the house it was barely livable and started work on it. im nearly finished now, but was thinking would i have been eligable for any grants0

Grants now are very limited and are normally only available for disabled access etc and not just for general improvement and upgrade. You need to remember that the price you paid for the house reflected the amount of work you had to do.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

Depends where you live...? You may b, but to be honest I doubt it as you bought the house when you knew it was knackered and obviously would have known how much you were going to spend on it etc.
Why are you feeling you need a grant now, what exactly for? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

I wouldn't of thought that she would be eligible if she lives with you and you are working. However I don't work for the DSS so won't tell anyone if you don't. The social security are right B@$****$ these days........if your not a pauper, they won't give a person anything.0 -

Its not the DSS who pays these grants its usually Environmental Health: Grants at the local council. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
