the lip balms were taken off the shelf in our store last night! I did tell the TM she was a spoil sport!

How silly! It's the company's offer, and the company's tills that allow the lip balms to go through as a normal item to allow the glitch, rather than just a Free Gift With Purchase that can't count towards the 3 for 2.
Really annoys me when some managers just can't let it go, especially as the number of people taking advantage like this is minimal compared to the number of customers Boots has paying over the odds for things!!

I was in Boots today and was going to do this then just thought - is it really worth it? The FCUK stuff is all overpriced in the first place. The lipbalms are £5, honestly who pays that for a lipbalm? You can get 2 Chapsticks for £1 in Poundland!
The AP and deodorants were £3.50 each for 150ml from what I remember. Yet boots have Sure 250ml on offer 2 for £4.

...I can't dispute this is an almighty bargain haul :rotfl:. Although again the RRP of £59 is a joke.

Thing is I wouldn't put a Poundland 50p lip balm in a christmas stocking but I would put a free fcuk one in with a couple of other bits.
The small store near my work yesterday had the shower gel and body spray but no space on the shelf for lipbalms

    Same here

Did you put them through the till in the order of dearest first? Why doesnt the till take off the cheapest items? Seems an odd way of doing it? Not that im complaining! :)

It's fairer really Boots are taking off every third item so you can put all your shopping through without having to group things together.

barriejohn69, no it won't work online as the free lip balm isn't an offer online.

Am going to go and have a look in my local, its only a small boots tho. Can anyone help me as I have a 25% off shower gel or bubble bath and a £5 off £20 spend.

Is there a particular way I need to hand the coupons over for them to work please? TIA. X

Thanks op! I too got 3 shower gels and 3 lipbalms for £1.20! Also, if you are spending your £5 no 7 voucher, cheapest is Mens wake up face wash at £7 before voucher. Then add a FCUK item and lipbalm, use the voucher, total £2! not as good as 6 items for £1.20, but i'd be getting the face wash for oh anyway and so the FCUK free stuff is just a bonus! hth

Can anyone confirm if this would work?

    x 1 FCUK bath soak; x 1 lip balm; x 1 No 7 men's product.

Using £5.00 off No7; 25% show gel AC coupon - so acutally only paying about £2 for No7 product.

Anyone know if the No 7 products are included in 3 for 2.

    Thanks

i think it should go through as-
    no7 product price £
    1 FCUK item price £
    1 lip balm - free

minus 1 lip balm price £5.10
    minus £5 no7 voucher
    minus 25% off bath/shower product

    and yes...the no7 products are included in 3 for 2 :)
