Obtaining PPI T&Cs

Hello,

I sent an SAR to Egg and MBNA and duly got a bundle of paperwork, consisting of past statements, computer screen entries and the main credit agreements but nothing with the terms and conditions for PPI - e.g, what was covered and any exclusions. I just want to check if this should have been included and if not, how best to obtain it.

On Egg's Personal Loan Agreement it states "... in accordance with the Egg Personal Loan Payment Protection Policy document suppied to you."

I don't have the original document so this is what I need to obtain, same for MBNA.

Thanks for your help.

Kind Regards,

Robert

    Hi Robert

If the accounts are longer than 6 years ago, they may no longer hold the actual agreements with direct details of the PPI included etc.
Yet there should be details provided within the SAR of info of insurance if taken out.

However, many have been in this situation and still been successful in making a reclaim without the requirement of the above.

So basically, you can go ahead and make a reclaim on this account with the reasons you have for being mis sold.

Step 3 below, complete the reclaim questionnaire, send to the head office or complaints dept of whoever set up and sold you the account, remember to keep copies for yourself as well, good luck.
