Should all forum members be asked to disclose interests?

Sometimes when I post, expecting support from fellow consumers, all or most of the replies read like a 1st time response from a complaint centre, or even worse.

Now I may be one of the few people on MSE who feel as if Businesses have the upper hand and consumers still get a bad deal. So just to cure my paranoia, do you think it is a good idea if everyone on the Forum is asked to declare what their main career is in their signature, so we can judge if their interests might conflict with those of the consumer. Of course they may not care to answer, but even an undeclared category might allow one to make a considered judgement on their independence.

I notice a few already do, usually IFAs, but perhaps not general bank staff, salespeople, owners of small businesses etc.
