Letter of Acknowledgement from Lloyds

Sorry if this has been asked before, but once I've sent my PPI complaint to Lloyds TSB by sending the questionnaire by recorded delivery, will I get any form of letter of acknowledgement to say my complaint is being looked into? Or do I just wait for a letter saying whether my complaint has been upheld or not. How long should a letter of acknowledgement take if there is one?
Many thanks

Hi and welcome
You should receive a letter of confirmation within a week or so, and they will let you know the procedures from there, and the decision currently stands now at 12 weeks.
Good luck and please keep us posted, cheers.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Thanks very much for the info - I think I need to get in touch with them by phone. It's been over 4 weeks and no letter of confirmation - time to get into a phone queue! I've got electronic proof of delivery with a signature on - it's just one name "Joe"! But at least I suppose if I have to send my questionnaire again, I can prove it was originally sent at an earlier date. Ho hum, nothing runs smoothly....0

Even though the reclaiming questionnaires are now in place, I understand Lloyds are pretty lenient, and will accept letters of the questionnaire.
I understand some for example like Barclays will only accept questionnaires.
Well done on your success!:beer:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Rang up customer services today; they have received my complaint and they had sent me a confirmation letter a while ago which I had not received so they gave me my complaint reference number over the phone Worth being on hold for ages with the terrible music for the peace of mind.0
