Barclays, HFC and another?

I've just been looking through past policies, now we NEVER take PPI so I didn't expect to find anything but did.
One is HFC who we have a couple of accounts with, now on a previous account hubby phoned up and they refunded it no problem, so we're going to try this first with the old one.
One is DELL, which we're not sure if we actually took out, but hubby will check the order when he gets home....computer spec is gobbledy gook to me. :rotfl:
The other is Barclays, now on their website they do say we can phone up, is this best? Or shall I try that first and if all fails follow up with a letter?
I don't think we'll get much back, as we have had a few years of consolidation one after another, but anything is good on my debt free journey. :T

Well done on your success!
And good luck on the others.
Personally I would not deal with complaints over the phone, and prefer to do it in writing, so i can keep copies and send to the FOS if I needed to complain.
Below is the reclaim questionnaire to make a complaint send to the complaints of head office of the branch, and keep a copy for yourself as well, good luck.
