ARGH car cd player is knackered.. where to get new one?

My beloved cd player has officially died a death after 4 years flawless service and I was wondering if anyone knew anywhere that I could get a cheap new one? Have put up ads on freecycle so hopefully someone will come good on there but other than ebay where's the best (ie cheapest) place to get one?

You can get cheapo ones new for about 40 quid, look in Yellow pages for an auto audio supplier. Halfords do some cheap models, and makro have some cheapos too.

You are talking about a head unit right? not a cd changer in the boot. You could go to a scrappy see what he has available, don't pay more than a tenner.

There is also gumtree (and 30 quid is too much IMHO for second hand.)
